Thank you for looking into volunteering !
We need you and APPRECIATE your working hands and hearts, as we present this festival freely to the public.
Every little help and gesture helps a lot especially before and after the main stage activities, when tight schedules, available daylight, and fatigue are factors !
We need all kinds of help to assure smooth sailing from the morning of July 3 through the evening of July 4. While you are working, you may freely visit the backstage artists/staff hospitality area for more festi-fuel!
When you e mail us or call, we will ask you your areas of interest from backstage hospitality, to field organization, organizational/supervisory skills, booth activities, children’s games, litter pickup, whether you are able and willing to lift and tote, artistic inclinations, gregariousness, do you have a license and vehicle ( Vans needed ) and when you are available. Generally assigned shifts will be 2 – 4 hours.
When you e mail or call we will send the volunteer sign up grid, and you can peek at it to see what can work for you.
We have two volunteer meetings scheduled at our heartquarters where we will eat, laugh, discuss the event, build up the volunteer schedule + good vibes and get some things done.
Please plan to attend both meetings. Meetings will be held at 1334 Lawrence St., El Cerrito....between Manila and Donal.
